The location of Waternook is perfect, a little elevated above Ullswater, commanding superb, uninterrupted views across the lake. The house is beautiful and excellently appointed in every respect. One could not find a more welcoming, obliging, friendly and able host who also commands a vast knowledge of the region. I would not consider staying anywhere else in the area.Peter F

"Homely Perfection" Everything about our stay was amazing. From the hospitality to the lakeside view in every room it made each second filled with happiness and tranquillity. The homemade breakfast was truly my favourite ever. Cannot wait to return!DrNat88
“Inspired and inspiring” This fabulous house is a heart melting gem. With apparently boundless energy, Dominic has set about making this a homage to perfection. From the luxuriously comfortable beds to the faultless breakfast, via the world's cuddliest bathrobes and some quite staggering hospitality, there isn't a hole you could pick.LafayetteboundRoom Tip: All rooms are fabulous, but the deluxe rooms are worth the extra.
“If you like peace, views, tranquility & hospitality--you must try it!” Classic & appealing! If you are looking for a stay that will typify all that is good about not only the Lake District but about classic B&B's, then stay at the 'Waternook'. Thanks Dominic for allowing us to touch a dream.Denis A
