Ullswater is just 10mins from J.40 on the M6 from Penrith. If you are travelling by electric car and looking for somewhere to charge up the Charge My Street website lists charging points in Cumbria and The Lake District National Park website lists the charging points in its car parks. The Zap Map website also lists places where elecric cars can be charged. EVs and hybrids must not use our 13A sockets to charge as they are not set up for this use.
